My definition of the supernatural is something outside our three dimentional reality. It is above our senses, operating in a spiritual realm. Occationally these beings both benevolent and manevolent can temporarily manifest themselves and be seen and felt briefly by our senses. This is how I write about not just demonic possession, but mainly of demonic oppression.
Demonic oppression can take a variety of forms and wreak havok in our lives. A few examples are: Seeing or hearing things that aren't there. Having unhealthy obsessions. Unatural health problems or illnesses that defy medical science. These demonic attacks can even influence to a degree the weather. For instance a simple passing shower can increase and become a violent thunderstorm.
The first book in a planned 12 book series is MIRRORED. It takes place in present day Thibodaux, Louisiana. My heroine Christine Albright arrives in Thibodaux to furnish a pre civil war plantation house under renovations. She meets Johnathan Thibodaux who is doing the renovations to the house and becomes her love interest. The evening of Christine's arrival, as she is about to check into her motel room she has a chance encounter with Celestine Badeau. Celesting is 16 years old, but when she was 8 years old she witnessed the murder of her parents. The encounter between Christine and Celestine sets in motion horrors that descend upon Thibodaux straight from Hell. Christine has been hiding a secret. At age 14 she was possessed by a demon.

Bio: I grew up from age 5 in St. Petersburg, Florida and spent my working career in the insurance business. After an auto accident left me disabled, my wife Christine and I moved to Cullman County, Alabama in June of 2002. In Oct. 2003 I began experimenting with writing and in Jan. 2008 I joined my local chapter of Romance Writers of America (RWA). Although I write romance as a sub-genre with supernatural mystery thrillers as my primary genre, my experience with RWA ultimately lead me to Astraea Press and publication in late Dec. 2011.
Christine Albright was drawn into the center of an eight year old double homicide while furnishing an old Thibodaux, Louisiana plantation house under renovations. The only survivor of the attack on her family, then eight year old Celestine Badeau is now sixteen and being pursued by the demon sent by a voodoo woman, Old Tre intent on killing her. The mystery of these murders exposes Christine’s dark past, being possessed by a demon as a teenager. The accidental meeting between Christine and Celestine sets into motion horrors straight out of Hell. Courage is their only defense. http://www.astraeapress.com/#ecwid:category=662245&mode=product&product=7105165
