I've always loved Cornwall, the southernmost tip of the UK. It's the place where the Atlantic waves crash in on pale beaches of golden sand. Home to Daphne DuMaurier and filled with stories of smugglers. There are wild moors reputed to be stalked by mysterious beasts and the ghosts of things long past. It was the perfect setting for my New Bay stories, a series of fun short and sweet tales set in a fictional surf town. Each story can be read independently in any order. The books are Making Waves, September Song and A Cornish Christmas with an Easter story hopefully coming soon. If you like surfers, sunshine and want a fun feel-good tale that leaves you with a smile on your face then why not give them a try?
Cassidy Jones needs a holiday and her friend's cottage in New Bay sounds perfect. The beach could heal the bruises from losing her job and her fiancé. Perfect for some time alone to gather her thoughts and heal her broken heart.
Josh Parker is also looking forward to a much needed break after eighteen months of non-stop work. His out of town friend offers her cottage and Josh thinks it would be just right for some time to let his hair down and revive his social life with his old surf buddies.
One cottage, two unsuspecting occupants, a recipe for romance or disaster?
Hope this is okay,
Love Nell

ReplyDeleteYou've been really busy! I love reading stories about the English countryside, but I don't know much about Cornwall. I'll have to start on your series to get acquainted!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to go to Cornwall one day. It truly sounds lovely ... not sure about the ghosts though :-)
